Legend has it that in the spring of 2021, two recently divorced and mildly feral humans were introduced by a mutual friend who believed the best cure for heartbreak was questionable decision-making and a strong sense of humor. At the time, both parties were a little bitter, a little reckless, and heavily relying on dark humor to get through life. What started as a suggestion to “blow off some divorce steam” somehow evolved into late-night conversations, shared sarcasm, and the slow realization that maybe — just maybe — chaos is better when you face it together.

Their worlds were not simple to combine. TJ arrived with his young daughter, while Lindsey arrived with an enthusiastic devotion to animals, farm life, and the general belief that most problems can be solved by acquiring another creature. Through patience, compromise, and a healthy amount of trial and error, they began building a life that somehow made sense for everyone involved.

In July 2023, they claimed their territory: five acres in East Berlin, PA. A diamond in the rough, a work in progress, and the future home of many questionable projects and animals.

Two years later, after a night that went anything but as planned, TJ proposed out in the barn. It was as imperfectly perfect as it could have been - and the most fitting place!

Their story has been a wild and wonderful adventure ever since.
